These back issues are specially printed on demand rather than produced as part of our larger subscription print runs, which results in a slightly higher production cost per edition.
Annual subscriber copies are printed in bulk, helping keep the standard issue price lower at approximately R50 per edition. Back issues, however, require a separate short-run print process prepared specifically for each order, resulting in an additional printing cost of approximately R15 per copy.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support, as this approach allows Lambano to minimise unnecessary stock holding while still making past editions available to readers and supporters who would like to enjoy and preserve them.
