Lambano Healthcare - Private Sub-Acute Facility is Coming Soon!

Keisha Rosana was born in 2002 at Natal Spruit Hospital and two months later, she checked into her forever home, Lambano Sanctuary. She didn’t arrive with a suitcase (just a baby bag), but she brought a whole lot of light.
Her young mother, bravely facing circumstances no teenager should, made the heartbreaking choice to give Keisha up in hopes of a better future.
That first adoption didn’t quite go according to plan but life, as it often does, had something else in mind. And so, little Keisha came to Lambano, where love is given in double portions and every child is treated like royalty (with chores, of course).
From day one, Keisha was that baby, the one who laughed the loudest, cried dramatically and somehow found a way to steal every visitor’s heart. She grew up surrounded by “moms” who weren’t just caregivers, but cheerleaders, teachers, aunties, and the occasional snack police.
Despite life’s many twists and turns, Keisha never lost her sparkle. Whether she was leading a dance in the lounge, she had a way of making even the toughest days lighter.
As she got older, it became clear that Keisha wasn’t just full of energy, but she was full of purpose. The Lambano team noticed it before she did, her way with people, her ability to comfort others and her fierce compassion. So, when she finished high school, they encouraged her to study Social Auxiliary Work.
She got a bursary. She got scared. She nearly ran for the hills.
“I almost gave up, I didn’t think I could do it, it just felt hard” explained Keisha
But with support and a few motivational pep talks she completed her course in 2022 and guess what?
She came right back home to Lambano for her practical training.
“I don’t know where I’d be without Lambano, it’s my safe haven. My dream is to keep working with children and help them the way I was helped.”
Today, Keisha is no longer the little girl running around in mismatched socks. She’s a qualified Social Auxiliary Worker with a heart as big as her laugh helping guide the next generation with wisdom, humour, and so much love.

Her story is one of joy, second chances, and the quiet power of being raised in a house built not by bricks, but by compassion.
Because at Lambano, babies become women. Pain turns into purpose. And bubbly little girls grow into the kind of women who change lives starting with their own.
