Pain & Symptom Control
We take symptom and pain control in children very seriously and approach it with a combination of medical expertise, empathy, and specialised care.

Maintaining good nutritional support for a child patient, involves a comprehensive approach that considers the child’s individual needs, medical condition, and dietary requirements.

Respite care is planned, or emergency temporary care provided to caregivers of a child.

Should a patient be at risk of transmitting or falling ill from an infectious illness, isolation is possible.

Paediatric palliative care as the active total care of the child’s body, mind and spirit that also involves giving support to the family. Palliative care should begin when illness is diagnosed and continue regardless of whether a child receives treatment directed at the disease. Healthcare providers must evaluate and alleviate a child’s physical, psychological, and social distress.

Administering oxygen therapy to a child patient involves careful consideration of the child’s age, condition, and the method best suited to their needs.

We offer counselling to the young patients as well as the families. The Social department is also available if needed.

After patients have been discharged from our Step-Down Facility to their homes, we transition them to our Home-Based Care programme. An interdisciplinary team will visit the patient and family at home, to ensure that they are coping. We offer Social support services to enable you to navigate the government system to obtain identity documents, birth certificates, and grants.
